HARRISBURG – Due to concerns over the potential spread of COVID-19 in Carbon County, Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) today sent a letter to the governors of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania urging them to take action regarding the travel of out-of-state residents into the Commonwealth.
WEISSPORT – Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) today announced that his district offices in Weissport and Albrightsville will not be providing walk-in service to Carbon County residents until further notice. In addition, his satellite office located at the American Legion building in Lansford will be closed for the next two weeks.

HARRISBURG – Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) today announced that safety grants totaling nearly $756,000 have been awarded to school entities in Carbon County.
HARRISBURG – Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) and Sen. John Yudichak (I-Luzerne/Carbon) today announced nearly $301,000 in state funding will be shared by 25 fire and emergency medical services (EMS) organizations in Carbon County. The grants range from $8,549 to $14,248.

WEISSPORT – Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) attended the public meeting concerning the reevaluation study of the Francis E. Walter Dam that was held in White Haven on Thursday night. He also spoke during the meeting, which was hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its partners, the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NY DEP).
