Heffley: We Need to Ensure the Voices of Pennsylvanians are Heard Regarding the Francis E. Walter Dam Study

WEISSPORT – Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) attended the public meeting concerning the reevaluation study of the Francis E. Walter Dam that was held in White Haven on Thursday night. He also spoke during the meeting, which was hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its partners, the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NY DEP).

Toohil, Heffley Take Part in Hearing on Planned Closures of White Haven, Polk State Centers

HARRISBURG – As members of the House Human Services Committee, Reps. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne) and Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) on Monday participated in a joint public hearing at the state Capitol with the House Health Committee to examine the recent decision by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) to close the White Haven (WHC) and Polk state centers and move residents into community-based settings.
