Jim Thorpe, January 23, 2018 — State Senator John Yudichak (D-Luzerne/Carbon) and State Representative Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) announced today that nine Carbon County projects will receive $797,458 in funding through the Monroe County Local Share Account from the Commonwealth Financing Authority.

HARRISBURG – On Tuesday, Nov. 7, Pennsylvanians voted on a statewide referendum which would enable the Legislature to take substantial steps toward property tax elimination. Over 75 percent of voters in Rep. Doyle Heffley’s (R-Carbon) 122nd Legislative District approved the measure.
