Heffley to Host Town Hall Meeting in Ashfield

LEHIGHTON – Residents of the 122nd Legislative District are invited to attend a town hall meeting hosted by Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) at the East Penn Social Hall, located at 403 Mountain Road, Ashfield, on Tuesday, July 17, at 6 p.m.

“The state budget recently became law and I want to explain directly to constituents how their tax dollars will be spent,” Heffley said. “This budget does not include tax increases, but it does provide additional funding for communities, such as funding for additional police and our schools, and combating opioid addiction and the spotted lanternfly.”

In addition to discussion on the budget, Heffley will also provide updates on property tax relief and other state and local issues concerning residents of 122nd Legislative District.
