Heffley Temporarily Ending Walk-In Service at District Offices Over COVID-19 Concerns

March 16, 2020

WEISSPORT – Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) today announced that his district offices in Weissport and Albrightsville will not be providing walk-in service to Carbon County residents until further notice. In addition, his satellite office located at the American Legion building in Lansford will be closed for the next two weeks.

Heffley’s staff will still be available to assist residents over the telephone or online with any state government-related matter. Mailboxes will be set up outside both offices for residents to drop off any necessary paperwork.

“We think it is in everyone’s best interest to institute some social distancing at our district offices until concern over the coronavirus diminishes,” said Heffley. “A majority of the folks we help are seniors, and my staff and I don’t want to put any of them at risk. We continue to be more than happy to provide assistance, but we now ask that residents give us a call, instead of stopping in.”

The phone number for Heffley’s Weissport office, which is open Monday through Friday, is 610-377-6363. The number of his Albrightsville location, which is closed on Wednesdays, is 570-722-8700. Heffley and his staff can also be reached via email at dheffley@pahousegop.com or through his website at www.RepHeffley.com.
