Heffley Hosting Two Town Halls, First One on Monday

WEISSPORT – Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) is inviting Carbon County residents to join him at two upcoming town halls he is hosting. 

First, Heffley is hosting an in-person town hall on Monday, July 20, starting at 6 p.m. The town hall will take place at the Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 2, 1507 State Route 534, Albrightsville.

Second, Heffley is hosting a telephone town hall on Monday, July 27, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.  Calls inviting participation will go out starting about five minutes before the town hall begins. If residents miss the call or don’t receive one, they can join by calling 877-229-8493 and entering the code 17796. Anyone interested can also stream the call here.

“I always want to be accessible to the people I represent,” Heffley said. “These town halls are another opportunity for residents of Carbon County to ask questions, have a conversation with me and share what’s on their minds. I’m looking forward to these discussions.”

Heffley also hosted a set of town halls in June. During both of those town halls, issues regarding data centers, property taxes and the state budget were discussed. 

“I’m ready to take questions on any state-related issue,” Heffley said. “I encourage everyone to participate in these town halls and join the conversation.”
