Heffley Requests Additional COVID-19 Case Data from Secretary of Health

HARRISBURG – In an effort to better safeguard the health of Carbon County residents and first responders during the current COVID-19 emergency, Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) is requesting a more detailed reporting of case numbers from the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Heffley made his official request in a letter sent Monday to Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine.

Heffley’s Bill to Bring Transparency to Prescription Pricing Advances to Senate

HARRISBURG – Legislation to bring much-needed transparency to the pricing practices of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) was passed unanimously by the House of Representatives on Wednesday. Reps. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) and Rob Matzie (D-Beaver/Allegheny) are the co-prime sponsors of House Bill 941, which now moves to the Senate for consideration.
